Are You Taking Action?

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call-to-Action 92 calls upon Canada’s businesses to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a reconciliation framework. Scout answers this call every day, applying principles such as:

  1. Committing to meaningful consultation and obtaining informed consent from Indigenous Peoples before engaging in economic development projects.

  2. Providing equitable access to jobs, training, and education for Indigenous Peoples.

  3. Educating management and staff on the history and rights of Indigenous Peoples.
