Scout is more than a service provider – we are
a partner. We bridge the gap between organizations and Indigenous Communities, empowering companies to navigate successful project execution by actively involving and gathering valuable wisdom from Indigenous Peoples.
Oversee project execution to ensure timely completion, budget compliance, and quality outcomes.
Plan, coordinate, and execute various types of community engagement activities.
Develop workshops, conduct training seminars, and offer informal mentoring.
Provide support with research, writing, budget development, submission, and follow-up support.
Analyze policies affecting Indigenous Communities and recommend actions to align with goals and objectives.
Conduct comprehensive studies to assess the economic, environmental, and cultural impact of proposed projects.
Facilitate asset management planning and conduct ACRS/E-ACRS inspections.
Manage design and construction of on-reserve infrastructure (i.e., water, wastewater, roads).
Develop sustainable strategies protecting against flooding and waterborne diseases.
Observe construction activities and progress.
Offer strategic solutions and appropriate resilience strategies to natural disasters.
We have the privilege to work on a diverse list of small-medium sized projects and scopes of work in line with our underlying mission of improving Indigenous quality of life. From running workshops to managing projects, developing budgets to informal mentoring, community engagement to Indigenous procurement, Scout has continued expanding our capacity to help our partners deliver quality projects.
That’s okay – we operate in a dynamic space that is impossible to be described in a few words!
We’d love to help revolutionize your company’s future. We’re one click away from getting started.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call-to-Action 92 calls upon Canada’s businesses to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a reconciliation framework. Scout answers this call every day, applying principles such as:
Committing to meaningful consultation and obtaining informed consent from Indigenous Peoples before engaging in economic development projects.
Providing equitable access to jobs, training, and education for Indigenous Peoples.
Educate management and staff on the history and rights of Indigenous Peoples.
